Due to the great delay of our suppliers on the Super Rok engines as well as on the spare parts the 1st official meeting of the Cyprus Rok Cup 2008 originally scheduled for the 2nd of March will be postponed for the 23rd of March 2008.
As all of you know, certain changes have been agreed for 2008 compared to 2007 and these are:
1) The rear pumper of the kart is mandatory.
2) The weight of the classes is:
a) Junior – 140Kg
b) Senior – 160Kg
c) Super – 167Kg
3) The tyres use will be Bridgestone
a.Used tyres will be acceptable only after the approval of the Scrutineer
a) The tyres will be supplied only after the purchase of a voucher for both practice and races. No credit will be given for the tyres.
b) The cost of the tyres including the V.A.T is €150,00
4) All meetings will be held at the Daytona Raceway on the following dates:
a) 02 March – Friendly
b) 23 March – 1st Official
c) 20 April – 2nd Official
d) 04 May - 3rd Official
e) 25 May – 4th Official
f) 22 June – 5th Official – Afternoon
g) 06 July – 6th Official – Afternoon
h) 07 September – 7th Official – Afternoon
i) 21 September – Security Meeting
j) 16-19 October – Rok International Final – Italy
5) Each driver will have the right to deduct 1 Official meeting and only the 6 with the highest points will count. Meeting in which he/she was punished by the Stewards with the imposition of penalty, can not be deducted. |
